Removing additives from plastics using solvents

Project objective: Develop and validate a potential dissolution additive extraction process for economically sustainable plastics recycling.
Planned outcomes:
O – Systematic measurements to find optimal additive removal conditions (03–2024)
Gfunk – Automated apparatus for small quantities of polymer (06–2024)
Gfunk – Automated apparatus for small quantities of polymer with extraction reagent recovery (11–2024)
Fuzit – Equipment for processing large quantities of polymer material with solvent extraction recovery (06–2025)
Ztech – Validation of large-scale processing of a polymeric material with solvent extraction recovery (12–2025)
