Evaluation of polymeric materials by the fractionation method

Project objectives:
- Develop and validate technology for recycling multi-layer packaging materials by polymer fractionation
- Removal of fractions with short chain lengths to increase the value of recycled materials
Planned outcomes:
Gfunk – Systematic measurements to find optimal fractionation process conditions (11–2023)
Gfunk – Functional sample of an automated fractionation apparatus (09–2024)
Gfunk – Functional sample of evaluated other polymeric materials, such as blended textiles (05–2025)
Ztech – Verified technology for fractionation of polymer materials (05–2026)
